LW (LEATHAL WEAPON) SHAPE

Thanks to its round shape, with medium balance, the LW has a large and generous sweetspot. This makes the racket incredibly stable and always gives you confidence in every stroke. With its medium balance, you also get the opportunity to add power to your shots as you more easily get some weight behind the ball which can help you get going.

CORE & SURFACE

The frame of the racket is made of fiberglass to create a forgiving failure throughout the racket and to be able to easily put the ball into motion. Also on the surface you will find fiberglass to create a nice bounce on the ball and give you control. The core of the racket is soft to give you a comfortable bounce on the ball which also gives you a bigger sweet spot.

GRADUAL HOLE-TECH

Just like in all of Varlion’s rackets, the LW Hexagon 8.8 Woman also has holes that are drilled in different sizes, something that Varlion calls Gradual Holes. This means that the holes are made smaller in the middle so that you can have as much hitting surface under the ball as possible and then made larger the closer they get to the frame. The reason for that is that you as a player will get a larger sweetspot, regardless of model, and a more forgiving feel.

SEAT BELT

Also unique to Varlion rackets is the way the safety strap is attached to the handle itself instead of the knob. This means that the safety belt is more or less impossible to tear off.
